    Time and date programming allows you to set the time and date that is shown on the display when a telephone is not in use. As with any clock, this needs to be set every time your office has a power failure and when you change between Daylight Savings and Standard Time.

    Tip:
    Most errors in occur when the entering the date. The date must be entered using the DDMMYY format, even if you have selected another format for display.

    Date and time are changed as follows:

    1. Press <Program>
    2. Press the volume key until "Time and Date Set?" is shown on the display
    3. Press <Hold>
    4. Enter the date using the format shown on the display (DDMMYY)
    5. Enter the current time based on the 24-hour clock
    6. Press <Hold> to save the new time and date settings
    7. Press <Program> or <Rls> to exit the programming mode

    The format displayed can be changed as follows:

    1. Press <Program>
    2. Press the volume key until "Time and Date Format?" is shown on the display
    3. Press <Hold>
    4. Press the volume key until the desired format is shown on the display
    5. Press <Hold> to save the new setting
    6. Press <Program> or <Rls> to exit the programming mode
