Toll Free Service
University departments can have toll free
services (800, 888, 877, etc.) added to their new or existing phone
lines. This service is provided by ITC/DeltaCom. This long distance
company is presently on State Contract administered by the State
Technology Office (STO).
To request toll free service please call Telecommunications at
273-1234. Your toll free number will be assigned to your new or
existing telephone line. The assigned telephone line will ring when
your toll free number is dialed. If that number is in a terminal hunt
group (rotary) and is busy, the call will hunt (rotate) to the next
available line.

A non-recurring $50.00 installation fee is charged for all new
toll free numbers. The installation charge is waived if you are
transferring an existing toll free number from another service provider.
