* CNS Guidebook
The CNS Guidebook is published annually, to provide new CNS users with an overview of our computing facilities as well as important information on using our systems. The online version of our Guidebook is a dynamic, up-to-date view of the Guidebook, including all of the recent changes which will be incorporated into next year's Guidebook.
The Guidebook is available in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

* /Update, CNS' on-line newsletter
/Update is published bi-monthly, and includes features and articles of interest to our user community.

* DOCWEB Online Documentation Library
The DOCWEB library is an extensive collection of CNS-specific documentation covering all aspects of using our systems.

* CNS UNIX 101: An Introduction to Pine E-mail and Basic File Management on CNS' NERSP UNIX Platform
This 66-page document is meant to help you get started on NERSP with as little fuss and bother as possible. It focuses on the handful of essential, core tasks which most users need to do on a regular basis -- e-mail, and basic file management. It will not teach you to be a UNIX wizard, but will give you enough information to get started using our UNIX system, and gives pointers to additional information for those who wish to explore further.

* An Overview of CNS:
This one-page pamphlet is a summary of CNS, including: network access, computing facilities, phone numbers, consultants, and more.
An Overview of CNS is also available in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

* CNS IDs and Accounts
This one-page document discusses the various types of CNS userIDs offered. There are several options, depending upon your affiliation (Faculty, Staff, Student, or other category), and/or division of the university.

* README.1ST: Guide to Signing On to CNS for the First Time
This 30-page guide gives detailed instructions for new CNS users in how to sign on to our systems.

* CNS Quick Reference Card
This handy, one-page (2 sides) document can also be downloaded in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

* E-Mail Lists at CNS
This document describes e-mail lists in general, and how they are implemented at CNS. Included is general information on how to apply to have an e-mail list created, and how to administer and use e-mail lists at CNS.
