From I-75 North:
- Take exit 387 ("Gainesville/Newberry").
- Go 4.5 miles east on SR 26/Newberry Road (becomes University Avenue) to SW 13th Street (US 441).
- Turn RIGHT (south).
- Go approximately 0.8 miles. After the turn onto SW 13th Street, you go THROUGH 3 stoplights.
- Turn RIGHT (west) at the 4th stoplight: SW 8th Ave/Museum Rd.
- Follow Museum Rd. approximately 1/2 mile. Parking* is available at the Welcome Center on the right, just past Center Drive.
From I-75 South:
- Take exit 384 ("Gainesville/Archer").
- Go 4.0 miles east on Archer Road to the intersection of SW 13th Street (US 441).
- Turn left (north) onto 13th Street.
- Continue north to the first stoplight (SW 8th Ave/Museum Rd.).
- Turn LEFT (west) onto SW 8th Ave/Museum Rd.
- Follow Museum Rd. approximately 1/2 mile. Parking* is available at the Welcome Center on the right, just past Center Drive.
From I-95:
- Take I-10 West.
- Follow I-10 West for approximately 37 miles to US 301 South (Baldwin, exit 343).
- From US 301 take FL-24W in Waldo for another 14 miles.
- Turn RIGHT onto University Avenue (26 West).
- Turn LEFT (south) onto SW 13th Street (US 441).
- Turn LEFT (west) onto SW 8th Ave/Museum Rd.
- Follow Museum Rd. approximately 1/2 mile. Parking* is available at the Welcome Center on the right, just past Center Drive.
From the Gainesville Regional Airport:
- Exit the airport drive. Turn RIGHT (east) on SR 222 (NW 39th Avenue).
- Continue east on NW 39th Ave. for 4 miles to US 441 (13th Street).
- Turn LEFT (south) on SW 13th St (US 441).
- Continue south on SW 13th St. for three miles to the light at Museum Road (SW 8th Ave).
- Turn RIGHT (west) onto Museum Road.
- Follow Museum Rd. for 1/2 mile.
- Follow Museum Rd. approximately 1/2 mile. Parking* is available at the Welcome Center on the right, just past Center Drive.
*Additional Parking: On-campus metered parking is generally available at the UF Welcome Center. However, in the event that location is full, a privately-operated parking facility one block north of campus offers a convenient alternative. That lot is indicated by the northern (top) yellow "P" on the linked map.
Directions to the alternate parking facility: From University Avenue, turn north onto NW 18th Avenue (beside the Catholic church), then east (RIGHT) onto NW 1st Avenue. The parking lot entrance is immediately on your LEFT.
